Due to the forecasted weekend snowstorm and potential winter weather conditions from Winter Storm Elsa, several scheduled events in the Appleton Area School District have been adjusted, and all buildings will be closed on Sunday, March 15.

This year, all AASD schools will be participating in the annual Fox Cities “Help for the Homeless” hygiene drive. Schools will be collecting NEW hygiene and cleaning items between February 23 and March 13, 2026. Please send your donations to school with your student, or drop them off in the collection box located at your student’s school.

The Board of Education recently voted unanimously to place an operational referendum on the April 7, 2026, ballot. The estimated tax rate impact is $0.15 per $1,000 of property value—about $15 per year on a $100,000 home, or $45 per year on the average Appleton area home ($300,000).
